The Golden Compass

Storyline

Lyra lives in a parallel world where every person has a magical creature, a daemon, bound to their soul. When children start disappearing and her friend Roger is kidnapped, she sets out on a dangerous journey to the North Pole to find out what is really happening and save the children.
